In the past, the tuning requires skilled and experienced engineers to be done manually. However, M2DC Series are able to complete the PID parameter automatically via our free software. It increases the efficiency of product-use greatly. M2DC Series servo product provides several control modes, such as pulse position control, analog speed mode and analog torque mode, meanwhile it supports SCL communication language based on serial communication, which is provided by MOONS’ peculiarly. And it also supports eSCL communication language, based on Ethernet. Besides, it applies to mainstream industrial field bus like Modbus/RTU, CANopen, EtherNet/IP. There is a built-in resistor in M2DC Series, which is for absorbing back EMF. For DC power supply, switching power supply is used which may cause the problem, when the motor is decelerating with high deceleration, it generates huge back EMF, if this is not absorbed promptly, it leads to over-voltage protection.
In order to make sure the systems work stably and reliably, this built-in resistor can resolve this kinds of problems perfectly. The input voltage range of M2DC series is 24-60v DC. This is great solution for DC input servo control, especially appropriate for mobile robot applications, which batteries used, e.g. AGV, RGV, transfer #robot, patrol inspection robot, service robot etc.
