New Design Non-Captive Linear Stepper Motors

Hello, everyone. It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of our newly designed non-captive linear stepper motors here in the MOONS' Lab. We call it our LNSM series. It is a patented, external Anti-backlash nut type. In addition to providing high repeatability and excellent concentricity, this nut design is simple to maintain and easy to replace. Different types of nuts are available to meet the needs of different applications. As compared with the previous generation of MOONS' products, this new product has significantly improved performance. The LNSM series is distinguished by its anti-backlash nut. Our global patents protect this nut, which is specially designed by MOONS'. The majority of applications require a product to have a long working life. The smoothness of movement will greatly influence the working life of a linear stepper motor. MOONS' LNSM nuts have excellent concentration and smooth operation.  What is the best method for measuring concentricity? The runout test demo would help explain. When the shaft runout value is small, the motor runs smoothly with good concentricity. Normally the runout value of a linear motor with the traditional design is 100~200 micrometers. However, the LNSM series performs much better, at only 10~20 micrometers! The LNSM series is very easy to maintain.
