AMP's New Corporate Headquarters
August 19, 2021 On the last weekend in July, we moved our entire operation from Watsonville to Morgan Hill. During this time, customer service continued to take orders and calls, application engineering continued to support customers without interruption. Outside the company no disruption was noticed, and we were back to normal business by Monday. It was a clear objective to execute the move plan with no business disruption, but it could not have been possible without the great efforts of our staff both preparing ahead of time and some working through the weekend to ensure the move was successful. The move itself is the culmination of a multiyear plan starting back in 2018 when we acquired land in Morgan Hill. This was followed by engineering and architectural planning to make sure the building we wanted was feasible in this location and would meet our needs for the future. The result is a custom designed facility of 21,000 square feet with capability to expand to 47,000 square feet as we need extra space. With this new facility we are well set for a bright future as we grow USA sales.
