4.16MW PV System installed in MOONS' Taicang has been successfully connected to 10KV grid
June 18, 2025 Driven by the global energy transition and China's "Dual Carbon" goals, the photovoltaic (PV) industry has emerged as a key sector in building a new power system and achieving carbon neutrality. With over 30 years of history, MOONS', a leading enterprise rooted in China, had long been committed to the research, development, and manufacturing of high-quality motion control products and one-stop customized solutions. Leveraging deep technological expertise and strong innovation capabilities, MOONS' products are widely deployed across the entire solar energy value chain. These applications span automated photovoltaic (PV) panel manufacturing systems, solar tracking systems, and tower-type concentrated solar power (CSP) systems. By delivering critical technical support for the efficient operation of solar power systems, MOONS' solutions are also driving the overall advancement and efficiency improvement of the solar industry. 4.16MW PV System installed in MOONS' Taicang has been successfully connected to 10KV grid Sustainability is deeply embedded in MOONS' corporate strategy and lies at the heart of its identity. On May 30th, 2025, a 4.16MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic (PV) system was successfully completed at MOONS' Taicang Manufacturing Base, the company's core production facility. The system has been officially connected to the 10kV power grid and is expected to generate significant environmental benefits each year—reducing standard coal use by 1,562 tons, carbon dioxide emissions by 4,326 tons, sulfur oxide emissions by 130 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 65 tons. The PV project marks a significant milestone for MOONS' advancement in green intelligent manufacturing. It exemplifies the company's concrete actions in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and advancing the low-carbon transition. It reflects MOONS' ongoing journey toward realizing its 2017 goal of establishing the Taicang facility as a benchmark for environment-friendly manufacturing.
